The Roadhouse Regulars is an “Alternate | Acoustic | Heavy | Roots” project influenced by 1970’s blues and hard rock fused with newer alternate roots music. The music is raw and is built around dual acoustic rhythm guitars and hard rock style drums with harmonica, pedal steel and piano giving additional voice.

Author

Bobba is my Dad | As the Author Intended

Bobba in my dadAside from being a singer/songwriter, composer and guitarist- Michael is also an author, having published two books.

His second book- Bobba is my Dad– is Michael’s autobiography. It’s the story of him growing up with his father and is told for children, through a child’s eyes. It’ll make you laugh and it’ll make you cry and it’ll make your children ask you what your stories are.His first book- As the Author Intended– is a book that sets out the literary structure of several important books of the bible and the critical link between structure and meaning- in particular, the use of chiasmus. The book came about from the many years Michael spent within the church and somewhat ironically, the book heralded the start of Michael’s move away from many of those beliefs.

Inventor

Pointless | Fridge or Cupboard

TrademarkMichael is the creator of “Pointless: The Board Game“… putting the bored back into board games. This truly unique and revolutionary game was created with Bruce Cowled after many long lunches sometime in the hazy 1990’s.

Michael is also the inventor of “Fridge or Cupboard” which has now become a card game for the whole family to enjoy. It really is a winner- talk about an ultimate stocking stuffer.
