We do many non-hoedown themed events. Roughly half our bookings are for clients wanting live party or pub/ club music and half are for the themed events.
Swamp Dawkins has an extensive repertoire– originals and covers– suited to wide variety of events beyond themed hoedowns and barn dances. We perform as either a full band or as a stripped back trio depending on the occasion.
We?play many many events for those just looking a party band or live entertainment. Whether it’s a lazy afternoon of blues, roots and acoustic rock or a night of Australian rock and party tunes, Swamp Dawkins is ready to?look after you and will tailor the song selection and style to suit your event.

Our Australian Rock/Pop covers classic Australian bands including: The Hoodoo Gurus, Paul Kelly, Hunters and Collectors, AC/DC, The Angels, The Choirboys, Men at Work, Cold Chisel, INXS, The Easybeats, Mental as Anything and more.
Our Amerciana repertoire includes: Johhny Cash, Kenny Rogers, Dolly Parton, Garth Brooks, Chuck Berry, Nancy Sinatra, Lynard Skynard, The Doors, Van Morrison and a few strays from across the Atlantic such as The Rolling Stones & Eric Clapton amongst others.
Our Party Hits repertoire includes classics from: Bon Jovi, ABBA, Dire Straits, Bryan Adams, The Romantics, Queen and Robert Palmer whilst our Blues repertoire is an eclectic mix of blues standards such as Crossroads and Grandmas Hands to interpretations of songs from artists such as BB King, Eric Clapton, JJ Cale and Stevie Ray Vaughan.
