Whether it’s a milestone birthday– 18th, 21st, 30th, 40th, 50th, 60th or even 70th– an Anniversary or just an occasion to celebrate, some of the best bush dances and hoedowns are often for private parties – where your guests are ready to let loose laughing, dancing, singing and creating a memorable night with some of their closest friends and family. For us, it’s always a privilege to be invited to play with your closest friends and family to help make your night memorable and one that you’ll talk about for years.

Everyone loves a party where you can dress up– and we’ve seen it all at the private parties we’ve done. Kenny’s & Dolly’s, Garth’s & Taylor’s, even Keith & Nicole! No shortage of boots, denim, hats, checks and a fair bit of leather along with all kinds of animal onesie’s.

The mechanical bull often makes an appearance, as does a good themed photo booth– and along with some hay bales, wine barrels, a pig on a spit and cold beer– you’ve got yourself one hell of a party.

For private parties, we typically play a wide range of material that starts with music as your guests arrive and over dinner. We help set the mood for the night in a quiet way that lets everyone talk and catchup with out of town guests, meet friends of friends or enjoy settling in with the regular crew. After dinner we’ll start kicking on by playing a two or three songs that get people in the mood for dance before getting them up for some called dances. As the night goes on, the mix shifts towards classic Australian, Americana or themed music of your choice to take the party into the night and keep everyone thoroughly entertained.
