For many events, the theme is distinctly Australian and we play iconic music from the likes of Cold Chisel, Paul Kelly, Hunters & Collectors, The Hoodoo Gurus, The Angels, Powerderfinger, Jet, Goanna, INXS, The Choirboys, AC/DC, Men At Work and others.
Australian Country themed events are great fun and iconic songs like “Dumb Things”, “Bow River” and “Are you gonna be my girl” ignite the event. Our repertoire of Australian songs is mainly from the 1990’s to early 2000’s but with a good selection from before and after. They’re selected to keep people entertained and on the dance floor, but with many also picked to help set the mood as guests are arriving or over dinner.
The transition between the called dances and such well known Australian songs is seamless and is designed to get people onto the dance floor and kicking up their heels.
Some events, will mix the Australian music with the called dances to create a bushdance or country dance with a modern feel whilst other events just want classic Australian music for a day on the harbour, an Australia Day celebration, or to welcome overseas clients with a taste of the best Australian music.
