Swamp Dawkins is a unique musical outfit specifically created for corporates and higher-end parties wanting a themed Country and Western Hoedown event that brings to life called barn, square, bush and line dances mixed with an extensive repertoire of Iconic Australian and Americana music performed with musicians of the highest quality and professionalism to deliver a night that your staff or guests will be talking about for years to come.
Our combination of called dances mixed with contemporary music to match is a formula that has been developed to bring guests onto the dance floor, caught up in the atmosphere and theme of the night, away from the dinner tables, and mixing with each other as they twist and twirl the night away, resulting in a totally unique and very memorable event.
All the dances are called and taught on the night and the music alongside the dances ranges from American country and western classics from Dolly, Kenny and Johnny; to Americana from Mellancamp and Tom Petty; to iconic Australian music from Paul Kelly and Jimmy Barnes; to party favourites from ABBA and Adele. When it comes to music– we’ve got your party covered.
The musicians have extensive music and event production industry experience coming from contemporary rock, as opposed to folk, backgrounds.
