Blues & Roots has it’s place for many of the events we do and can often set the scene in a relaxed manner. The classic blues of BB King, through to Clapton and to the Texas blues of Stevie Ray Vaughan– it’s great music and comes alive in a unique way with the fiddle, harmonica, pedal steel or electric lead guitar.
We do quite a few gigs just as a trio– guitar, drums and bass– playing the blues & roots at local pubs & clubs. It’s great music for people to relax to and we’re able to mix the feel, beats & tempos to pick it up a gear as the afternoons or evenings start kicking on.
The blues & roots fit in well with the Hoedowns, Honkytonks & Wild West Nights often as music over dinner or as people are arriving to help set the mood and to start off in a relaxed manner.
For events that want a particularly strong blues feel we add the harmonica to the lineup which will make you feel like your right on the back porch watching the sun go down with a glass of your finest, hand in hand with your favourite.
